Samy Vellu Story

Samy Vellu was visiting India when he fell and broke his jaw. He was
unable to speak. Being the great leader that he is, he continued his
grand tour.

On the last week of his visit, the RTM crew was present for his press
conference. Although unable to speak, Samy insisted on sending a
message home to his Cabinet colleagues. Samy caught a chicken and showed it to
the camera. Next he took a goat, and showed it to the camera. Finally
he took a bag and displayed it in front of the camera

Lim Kheng Yaik was the first to see the video clip. He said, "Samy is telling
us that India has insufficient food because he showed us a chicken and
a goat, and he wants Malaysia to donate bags of rice. " Pak Lah watched
silently then said, "No lah....what Samy is trying to say is HE IS
COMING BACK. The whole cabinet was puzzled and look to the old man for
an explanation.
Pak Lah reasoned, "AYAM KAMBING BAG." ("I am coming back" in Indian
accent)

Being out here

The last time I set my foot off the land of Malaysia was on this historic date, 12 September 2006; I felt myself being seperated from my best part of my life and a new life in the foreign land. Now, I am here, realised that I have less than 3 weeks left only to be back home sweet home.

Landed on this foreign land, did not make me a scary-cat person anymore from that day onwards. Being left alone without my computer, only a mobile phone; entertaining myself with nnothing but music, staring into blue sky of the spring season from my window. Thought of staying here alone had strengthen me. Without the help of friends, I might not be standing here firm and strong facing everything. Care for them and appreciation is inevitable.

Reasonable whenever stand up to speak and also be brave. Not only speaking for your own sake, make sure everything blurted from your own mouth doesn't hurt anyone. Mind your language. Bare in mind that, do not beat around the bushes. Go straight to the point. Not everyone knows what are your hidden meaning in your words.

Take things easily and not push yourself into doing something that you think it is not possible. Try your very best. And the results will be taken care of. But remember that DO NOT TAKE THINGS FOR GRANTED!! Never think that you are secured of getting the result you always wanted to but forgetting the perspiration and diligence.

Being out here doesn't look as easy as you think. :)

Lessons of Alcohol

A ninth-grade teacher wanted to demonstrate the evils of liquor to his young students. He produced a glass of water, a glass of vodka, and two worms.

"Now class, observe closely," he said as he dropped one of the worms into the glass of water. The worm wriggled about in the water, perfectly happy.

The teacher dropped the second worm into the glass of vodka. The worm swam around for a moment, then seized up and curled, quickly sinking to the bottom of the glass, dead as a doornail.

"Now, what can be learned from this experiment?" the teacher asked his students.

After a pause, a young man stood up and said, "Well, if you drink vodka, you'll never get worms."

Joke of the DAY

Sexual Confessional
April 6th, 2007
AskMen.com Rates This Joke: 8/10

A young woman goes to church to confess her sins to the priest. "Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned."

"Tell me all of your sins, my daughter."

"Oh, Father, last night my boyfriend made hot, passionate love to me seven times," she says.

The priest thinks about this long and hard, and says, "Take seven lemons and squeeze the juice into a tall glass, and drink it."

"Will this cleanse my soul of my sins?"

"No," the priest says, "but it'll wipe that smile off your face!"

Feeding your brain: new benefits found in chocolate

SAN FRANCISCO - As if people needed another excuse to like chocolate, new studies suggest a specially formulated type of cocoa may boost brain function and delay decline as people age, researchers said.

Scientists, speaking at the annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science in San Francisco, presented results from early studies testing the effects on the brain of flavanols, an ingredient found in cocoa.

Funded by candy maker Mars Inc., which provided a specially formulated liquid cocoa concoction for the research, the studies suggest that flavanols increase blood flow to the brain and may hold promise for treating some vascular impairments.

Mars, a private company, has made a study of the health benefits of cocoa. Its CocoaVia line of chocolates, made with a process that retains flavanols, have been shown in clinical trials to have benefits for the heart.

The latest research also suggests benefits for the brain.

Ian Macdonald of Britain's University of Nottingham Medical School, conducted a small brain imaging study on young, healthy women to see whether flavanol-rich cocoa helped boost cognitive function during challenging mental tasks.

Although the beverage did not improve their performance on the tests, it did increase blood flow to their brains for a two to three-hour period, Macdonald said.

He believes more research might show that increased blood flow could benefit older adults and those who have cognitive impairments, such as fatigue or even mini-strokes.

A US study of healthy adults over 50 also found a marked rise in blood flow. It was conducted by Harvard Medical School researcher Dr. Norman Hollenberg, who has studied the effects of cocoa and flavanols on Panama's Kuna Indian population.

Hollenberg believes that, while promising, the brain benefit needs to be verified.

"The only way we can prove something is working is a large clinical trial," he said.

Meanwhile, the researchers cautioned against rushing out to binge on the special Mars line of chocolates.

"It is a modest calorie load but it is a calorie load," Macdonald said. "As long as you are doing something to earn that 100 calories, then that's fine."

Masturbation Reduces Cancer Risk

Australian researchers lead by Dr Chris Hiley, Prostate Cancer Research were assessing prostate cancer risk and found that men could reduce their risk of developing prostate cancer through regular masturbation.

They say cancer-causing chemicals could build up in the prostate if men do not ejaculate regularly.

And they say sexual intercourse may not have the same protective effect because of the possibility of contracting a sexually transmitted infection, which could increase men’s cancer risk.

The researchers questioned over 1,000 men who had developed prostate cancer and 1,250 who had not about their sexual habits.

They found those who had ejaculated the most between the ages of 20 and 50 were the least likely to develop the cancer.
The protective effect was greatest while the men were in their 20s.

Men who ejaculated more than five times a week were a third less likely to develop prostate cancer later in life.

Schoolgirls competing to be No.1 in sex game

A GROUP of female students in a secondary school in Johor Baru are said to be competing among themselves to be the one with the highest number of one-night stands, Nanyang Siang Pau reported.
Each of the 10 students in the group, aged between 13 and 15 years old, would fork out between RM50 and RM100 to be in the game.
The student with the highest number of sex partners within a month would get a “reward”, which ranged from between RM500 and RM1,000, said the report.
Usually, a student would need between 13 and 15 sex partners to claim the “reward”.
It was learnt that the school had expelled some students involved in the activity, but the report added that it was still going on.

Just pay RM9.99 (Half price to fly to Old Trafford)

Woohoo!! This what i found!! on NST online.. Come come visit me.. my frens.. hehe.. Glad the flight tix to manchester is cheap by AirAsia X flight which will be introduced this year!! YEAH!!

06 Jan 2007

KUALA LUMPUR: Flying to the United Kingdom is set to become cheaper. Just RM9.99 for a single journey, to be precise.Come July, this will be one of several medium and long-haul flights to be offered by AirAsia X, and Fly Asian Xpress’ (FAX) budget long-haul service. The budget route will not be serving Heathrow Airport but secondary airports such as Stanstead, Manchester, Coventry and Birmingham.Even without the gimmick, flying to the United Kingdom — the longest international low-cost carrier (LCC) route — is going to become very much cheaper via AirAsia X.The real deal is this: Normal flights will be going at half the price offered by full services airlines. The newest development in flights out of the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, it is set to provide stiff competition to more established airlines flying the route.FAX chief executive officer Raja Azmi Raja Razali said the fare excluded food, beverages and in-flight entertainment."Our new service will revolutionise Malaysia’s aviation sector and pave the way to making the KLIA the global hub for LCC," he told reporters after the launch of AirAsia X and the signing of a 30-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between AirAsia and FAX here. The agreement allows AirAsia to franchise its internationally recognised brand to FAX.Transport Minister Datuk Seri Chan Kong Choy and Tourism Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor launched AirAsia X yesterday.Other AirAsia X destinations in the pipeline include Tianjin and Hangzhou in China, India, Australia and several destinations in Europe.AirAsia X is expected to carry about 500,000 passengers within the first year of operations. Tickets will be on sale through AirAsia’s website next month.FAX, privately-owned by AirAsia chief executive officer Datuk Tony Fernandes, AirAsia deputy CEO Datuk Kamarudin Meranun and Raja Azmi, operates the domestic rural air services (RAS) in Sabah and Sarawak.Fernandes owns a 50 per cent stake in FAX, while Kamarudin and Raja Azmi own 30 and 20 per cent stakes in the airline respectively.Fernandes said FAX was looking for suitable wide-bodied aircraft to lease or purchase, like the B777s or A330s.To start off, he said the airline would need around three such aircraft for the long-haul routes."I think FAX would need around 20 aircraft to serve our medium and long- haul destinations. The proposed aircraft purchase would be financed by shareholder funds," he said.Depending on the type of aircraft used, the Kuala Lumpur-London flight service would most likely have a stop-over in the Middle East. The service would have two seat classes — economy and super economy, which is almost equivalent to full service business class seats.
