Lamborghini Murcielago

Anyone who appreciates a good underdog story probably likes Lamborghini. The Italian carmaker that launched thousands of bedroom posters trailed rivals like Ferrari and Porsche in prestige and technological superiority for years. Along the way, ownership of the Sant' Agata Bolognese company has unraveled like a string of Hollywood marriages, complete with irreconcilable differences. It was even owned by Chrysler from 1987 to 1994 when the seven-year itch apparently set in and Lamborghini was kicked to the curb, rebounding into the arms of an Indonesian investment group. Then in 1998, Audi/Volkswagen wooed their way into ownership after initially being hooked up only for technical assistance. Since then, the story and the cars have steadily improved. Today, Lamborghini commands a strong impression on car culture; the scissor-action doors are copied on everything from custom show cars to your neighbor’s kid’s pimped-out Kia.

So, it seems the underdog Lamborghini aims to be an overachiever. The intent is blatantly obvious with the MurciĆ©lago named after a notorious fighting bull. The name is also Spanish for “bat.” Either translation is apt. The car is fierce and it’s a heck of a bug-killer at over 200 miles an hour. First introduced in 2001, the lone MurciĆ©lago model for 2007 is the LP640 coupe, the most powerful yet. Here’s a look at this exotic against its peers in the areas of luxury and practicality.

Remembering Diana

Harry's speech in full

“William and I can separate life into two parts. There were those years when we were blessed with the physical presence beside us of both our mother and father.

“And then there are the 10 years since our mother’s death. When she was alive we completely took for granted her unrivalled love of life, laughter, fun and folly. She was our guardian, friend and protector.

“She never once allowed her unfaltering love for us to go unspoken or undemonstrated.

“She will always be remembered for her amazing public work. But behind the media glare, to us, just two loving children, she was quite simply the best mother in the world.

“We would say that wouldn’t we. But we miss her. She kissed us last thing at night.

“Her beaming smile greeted us from school. She laughed hysterically and uncontrollably when sharing something silly she might have said or done that day. She encouraged us when we were nervous or unsure.

“She - like our father- was determined to provide us with a stable and secure childhood.

“To lose a parent so suddenly at such a young age - as others have experienced - is indescribably shocking and sad. It was an event which changed our lives forever, as it must have done for everyone who lost someone that night.

“But what is far more important to us now, and into the future, is that we remember our mother as she would have wished to be remembered - as she was: fun-loving, generous, down-to-earth, entirely genuine.

“We both think of her every day.

“We speak about her and laugh together at all the memories.

“Put simply, she made us, and so many other people, happy. May this be the way that she is remembered.”

**Princess Diana, Princess of Wales has been the lady I have look up to since her death in 1997. It was a great lost to the world for such a lady like her who had done so much for the poors and AIDS infected children and also others. Lady D will be missed forever and she will be always be the Lady of the kind we couldnt get it anymore in this world**

Samy Vellu Story

Samy Vellu was visiting India when he fell and broke his jaw. He was
unable to speak. Being the great leader that he is, he continued his
grand tour.

On the last week of his visit, the RTM crew was present for his press
conference. Although unable to speak, Samy insisted on sending a
message home to his Cabinet colleagues. Samy caught a chicken and showed it to
the camera. Next he took a goat, and showed it to the camera. Finally
he took a bag and displayed it in front of the camera

Lim Kheng Yaik was the first to see the video clip. He said, "Samy is telling
us that India has insufficient food because he showed us a chicken and
a goat, and he wants Malaysia to donate bags of rice. " Pak Lah watched
silently then said, "No lah....what Samy is trying to say is HE IS
COMING BACK. The whole cabinet was puzzled and look to the old man for
an explanation.
Pak Lah reasoned, "AYAM KAMBING BAG." ("I am coming back" in Indian
accent)

Being out here

The last time I set my foot off the land of Malaysia was on this historic date, 12 September 2006; I felt myself being seperated from my best part of my life and a new life in the foreign land. Now, I am here, realised that I have less than 3 weeks left only to be back home sweet home.

Landed on this foreign land, did not make me a scary-cat person anymore from that day onwards. Being left alone without my computer, only a mobile phone; entertaining myself with nnothing but music, staring into blue sky of the spring season from my window. Thought of staying here alone had strengthen me. Without the help of friends, I might not be standing here firm and strong facing everything. Care for them and appreciation is inevitable.

Reasonable whenever stand up to speak and also be brave. Not only speaking for your own sake, make sure everything blurted from your own mouth doesn't hurt anyone. Mind your language. Bare in mind that, do not beat around the bushes. Go straight to the point. Not everyone knows what are your hidden meaning in your words.

Take things easily and not push yourself into doing something that you think it is not possible. Try your very best. And the results will be taken care of. But remember that DO NOT TAKE THINGS FOR GRANTED!! Never think that you are secured of getting the result you always wanted to but forgetting the perspiration and diligence.

Being out here doesn't look as easy as you think. :)

Lessons of Alcohol

A ninth-grade teacher wanted to demonstrate the evils of liquor to his young students. He produced a glass of water, a glass of vodka, and two worms.

"Now class, observe closely," he said as he dropped one of the worms into the glass of water. The worm wriggled about in the water, perfectly happy.

The teacher dropped the second worm into the glass of vodka. The worm swam around for a moment, then seized up and curled, quickly sinking to the bottom of the glass, dead as a doornail.

"Now, what can be learned from this experiment?" the teacher asked his students.

After a pause, a young man stood up and said, "Well, if you drink vodka, you'll never get worms."

Joke of the DAY

Sexual Confessional
April 6th, 2007
AskMen.com Rates This Joke: 8/10

A young woman goes to church to confess her sins to the priest. "Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned."

"Tell me all of your sins, my daughter."

"Oh, Father, last night my boyfriend made hot, passionate love to me seven times," she says.

The priest thinks about this long and hard, and says, "Take seven lemons and squeeze the juice into a tall glass, and drink it."

"Will this cleanse my soul of my sins?"

"No," the priest says, "but it'll wipe that smile off your face!"

Overview for the past 1 month (Part 2)

Visit to Cambridge

Wow!! Cambridge was amazing.. Cool place.. though there was not many night clubs and pubs, it is the place to enjoy a laidback lifestyle.. It was the aura of intelligence in cambridge which makes me a 'smarter' person.. hehehe... and you know what, bicycles are everywhere.. no worries for the bicycle owners.. unlike manchester, they keep their bicycle locked by the road side which is not the way it is in manchester.. The moment u park outside your faculty even though it's locked, it will be gone the end of the day!! hmmm.. amazed... :D
